In order to demonstrate the Runtime result of an iWEB conversion, we have built a sample 5250 application.
This section illustrates the 5250 screens, while the next section shows the Runtime converted pages.
(You may download, install and convert this application for your own exercise.)

When you logon with user profile IWEBDEMO, you receive an initial menu: 

If you select option 1 and press Enter, the following screen is shown: 

Enter a quotation mark ("?") at the beginning of the first input field.
This opens a window where you can select the type of boat: 

Select with any character the type of boat and press Enter.
You get back the same screen as in Figure 03-07, where the boat type selected is now set up: 

You would press Enter to display a list of the boats belonging to the selected boat type: 

Press F6 to generate a printout of this list.
You may now select (with any character) some boats and press Enter.
For each boat selected, some detail information is shown: 

You may:

• press Enter to see the details of the next selected boat
• press F12 to go back to the previous screen
• press F3 to go back to the initial menu

The next section shows how the screens of this 5250 application are converted for iWEB Runtime.
